eligibility Criteria
The main AAT grant is open to senior athletes who meet the eligibility criteria and are in contention for the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The Emerging Athlete Grant is open to athletes aged 20-25 (inclusive) as at 1 January 2026. This includes those targeting the 2026 Commonwealth Games as well as those progressing towards senior international events such as the 2027 World Championships or the 2028 Olympic or Paralympic Games.
Application process
Please note the deadline for applications for both categories is Wednesday 25th March, 5pm
Decisions will be communicated by the 17th of April
Important: If you are aged between 20 and 25 as at 1 January 2026, you must apply for the Emerging Athlete Grant.
