February fundraising

Our fundraising event held at Bar Franco in Christchurch on the 22nd of February was a chance to raise funds for our 2026 grants and connect with the Athletics community. We had a great turn out with guests commenting they enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new connections, as well as hearing about the vision of the Trust

A big thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket to this event, and MC Sarah Cowley-Ross and guest speaker Zion Armstrong.

Our online auction which we launched at the Christchurch event raised $15,000 which was put towards our 2026 athlete grants. Of particular note were a framed singlet from Hamish Kerr, a golfing package at Millbrook Resort, appearances from Eliza McCartney, Tom Walsh and Hamish Kerr, signed spikes by Zoe Hobbs, signed poster by Sam Ruthe and a breathing workshop with Josh Komen.
